Ask for a complete quote
- The total you will pay, including fees and taxes.
- The exchange rate and how long the quote remains available.
- The currency and amount the recipient will receive.
- Any recipient-bank or payout charges.
- The delivery estimate, payout method and identification requirements.
Before confirming
Check the provider’s authorisation with the relevant regulator in the sending country. Verify recipient details and read cancellation, error-resolution and refund conditions. Save the receipt and transfer reference.
US consumers can consult the CFPB’s transfer guidance for US-specific disclosures and protections. Those rules should not be assumed to apply to transfers from every country.
