Find the institution
The Directorate General of Medical Education portal separates public and private medical and dental colleges. Use it to identify the institution, then obtain the current admission circular from the responsible authority.
Checks before paying
- Confirm the programme, campus, approved intake and academic session.
- Ask the Bangladesh Medical and Dental Council about recognition and the route to professional registration.
- Check admission eligibility, documents, examinations and any foreign-student requirements.
- Request a written fee schedule, refund policy and accommodation information from the institution.
BMDC’s site showed a maintenance notice when checked. If its recognition service is unavailable, wait for confirmation directly from the council; an old college list is not proof of current recognition.
