Separate government recruitment from private-sector applications, and work from the employer’s current vacancy notice.
Government recruitment
The Bangladesh Public Service Commission publishes examination and recruitment information, including BCS and non-cadre categories. Check the notice for the post you want; not every government vacancy is handled through BPSC.
Private-sector applications
Check the employer’s official careers page. You can also discover vacancies through Bdjobs, a commercial job platform. Verify the employer and the original vacancy before sharing sensitive records or making a payment.
Application checklist
- Read the qualifications, location and deadline carefully.
- Prepare a CV suited to the role and provide only the documents requested.
- Check the application address and save your submission confirmation.
- Confirm any fee and payment instructions from the original recruitment notice.
For work outside Bangladesh, start with the overseas employment guide.

Turn a vacancy notice into a checklist
- Record the job title and notice reference, not just the social-media headline.
- Read the employer’s original notice for qualifications, experience, application steps and closing time.
- Prepare a CV that shows relevant work and measurable results.
- Check required filenames, photo specifications and supporting documents before submitting.
- Save the confirmation or applicant copy and record the deadline for any next step.
The BPSC website and BPSC application portal are useful starting points for BPSC recruitment. Use the link in the specific current notice; a portal link does not mean a vacancy is still open.
Do not send money to someone promising a guaranteed appointment. Verify payment instructions against the original notice.
