Before you apply for a service, follow a recruitment notice or share a document, take a minute to check where the link leads. This checklist helps you find the responsible organisation and compare instructions.
1. Start from a trusted starting point
For Bangladesh public services, begin at the Bangladesh National Portal or the responsible organisation’s known website. For banking information, use Bangladesh Bank. A logo, a search advert or a forwarded message alone does not establish authenticity.
2. Read the full address
Look at the domain in your browser, including spelling and extra words. HTTPS protects a connection; it does not by itself prove who operates a website. Return to the known official homepage if a link looks unfamiliar.
3. Match the service and notice
Find the same announcement on the organisation’s website. Compare the notice reference, application category and instructions. Check the publication date and any correction or extension notice.
4. Check before paying or uploading
Use the payment method and application address in the original current instructions. Do not provide passwords or one-time codes to another person. Only submit the documents the genuine process requires.
5. Keep your own record
Save the notice, submission confirmation, receipt and reference number. If something differs, contact the organisation using details found independently on its official site.
